最強新秀Byron Buxton今天(15日)獻出大聯盟處女秀，雖然4打數沒安打，但在第9局跑回致勝分，幫助雙城4比3險勝遊騎兵。
2015年小聯盟百大新秀評比第1名，Buxton從2A被叫上最高殿堂，今天生涯首戰擔任先發中外野手第9棒。
Buxton前3次打擊沒有貢獻，第9局第4打席靠著野手選擇上壘，隊友Eddie Rosario敲出二壘安打，他從一壘連衝三個壘包回到本壘得分。
9局上Buxton跑回超前第4分，雙城9局下Glen Perkins乾淨關門3上3下，拿下全大聯盟最多的第22次救援成功。
賽後Buxton說：「首戰跑回致勝分，這是很不可思議的感覺，我會一輩子記得的。很高興球隊贏球了，我會做好準備迎接下一場比賽。」
